FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY, WEDDING VIDEOS, AND PACKAGES

When planning a wedding, many questions often arise regarding photography, videography, the overall setup, and the cost. Here, I’ve compiled answers to the questions many couples have at the beginning, whether you’re considering wedding photography, wedding videography, or a package that includes both.

The idea is to provide a clear overview of how I work, what’s included, and what the process typically looks like from initial contact to delivery.

If you’d like to learn more about each section, you’ll find more detailed information on the respective pages:

HOW MUCH DOES A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER OR WEDDING VIDEO COST?

The price for wedding photography and videography depends mainly on how many hours are needed, how much of the day you want documented, and whether you want photos, video, or both. Shorter coverage is priced at one level, while a full day with more extensive coverage is priced at another.

On the packages and pricing page, you’ll find starting prices for various options. We always provide a detailed quote after discussing the specifics of your wedding, so you receive a proposal that reflects your special day rather than a generic standard price.

HOW DO WE BOOK YOU FOR OUR WEDDING?

Start by sending me the date, location, and a brief description of your vision for the day. I’ll then get back to you with my availability and suggestions for the event’s structure. If everything looks good, we’ll draw up a booking agreement, you’ll pay the booking fee, and the date will be reserved for you.

Once the booking is confirmed, planning continues at a leisurely pace leading up to the wedding, so that the schedule, portrait session times, and other details are all clearly established well in advance.

DO YOU WORK ONLY IN STOCKHOLM OR THROUGHOUT SWEDEN?

I’m based in Stockholm, but I photograph and film weddings throughout Sweden and internationally. Many weddings take place in other locations, and travel plans are always made well in advance so that everything is clear from the start.

Whether the wedding is in the city, in the countryside, or abroad, the process works the same way, with a focus on reliable planning and photography that suits the venue.

IS IT COMMON TO BOOK BOTH PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOGRAPHY?

Yes, it’s becoming increasingly common to book both wedding photography and wedding videography. Photos capture moments, portraits, and details, while video preserves voices, speeches, and the atmosphere. Together, they provide a more complete record of the day.

That’s why we offer special packages where photography and videography are planned together, which streamlines the workflow on the day and ensures a cohesive final product.

HOW MANY HOURS OF PHOTOGRAPHY OR VIDEO COVERAGE ARE NEEDED AT A WEDDING?

It depends on how much of the day you want to be able to relive later. For the ceremony and portraits, 4–6 hours are often sufficient. For a continuous narrative from the preparations through to dinner, 8–10 hours are usually needed. For larger weddings with multiple venues or a longer reception, more time may be appropriate.

Most couples settle on the right level after going over the schedule and priorities together, and it’s often easier to adjust the scope once the big picture is clear.
